The Post Office in Wells Market Place was being threatened with closure, but this afternoon I received an email to confirm the plans have been scrapped! Thanks to everyone who signed the petition!

We the undersigned call on Post Office Ltd to halt its planned closure of its branch in Wells Market Place, and to work with Wells City Council, Mendip District Council and local residents and businesses; to remain in its City centre premises which are convenient and accessible.
