Keeping in touch during the General Election

House.jpg
Today, Monday 30th March Parliament has been ‘dissolved’ for the General Election.

I wanted to take the time to thank everyone who has been in touch with me since I was elected in 2010.  I have helped with over 23,700 requests for advice, and have met many people at over 675 advice surgeries held in local towns and villages.

Although Parliament will not be sitting until after the election and so technically there are no MPs! I want to reassure you that my team and I will still be available and working to assist you. You can still contact me, as always, and my advice surgeries will follow their normal pattern.

Representing local people and communities in the area to the best of my abilities over the last five years has been the greatest privilege of my life, and remains my top priority - during the election campaign and, hopefully, over the next five years.

If I may, I would like to write to you from time to time during the next few weeks as local issues and topics arise.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if I can be of assistance

Kind regards,

Tessa
